SafeHouse of Seminole acts as a catalyst for change working towards a safe future for all, providing counseling programs, personal advocacy services and emergency shelter for women and children and men surviving domestic abuse.

As one of Florida’s leading providers of these life-changing and life-saving services, they are dedicated to offering the tools to help individuals heal and create new beginnings for themselves and their families. Their mission as a next-generation shelter is to transform lives, empowering individuals to end the cycle of domestic abuse through prevention, intervention and protection.

In March 2022 For their Fight raised almost $15,000 for Safehouse. Proceeds went to begin their new Mental Health Program. This program provides one on one professional counseling sessions for victims of Domestic Violence and more.

These women, children, and men come to Safehouse looking for safety and help.

Currently, Safehouse has partnered with 2 different counseling groups. Since the opening of the new mental health program each group has gone through the proper training to help Domestic Violence survivors.

With our help we can continue growing this program giving each survivor a chance to take steps towards normalcy. Counseling is critical for those who have suffered Domestic Abuse. It teaches individuals healthy strategies to help with previous trauma or mental and emotional roadblocks so they can reduce stress, anxiety, and avoid destructive emotional triggers.

We may not be able to end Domestic Violence but together we can help those whom suffer through it.

It's our time to help our community and the generations yet to come.
